Trainee Paraplanner – Full Study Support in Bristol

About the role

This is a full‑time Trainee Paraplanner position based in Bristol, designed for an experienced IFA Administrator who wants to progress into paraplanning. You will receive hands‑on mentoring, full study support for CII qualifications and a clear career path towards becoming a qualified paraplanner.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct product and provider research to support adviser recommendations.
• Prepare suitability reports and recommendation packs for clients.
• Assist advisers with the production of financial planning reports.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with FCA regulations.
• Liaise with providers and clients to gather necessary information.
• Support the handling of pensions, investments and protection cases.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an IFA or financial planning practice in an administration or client support role.
• Good understanding of pensions, investments and financial planning processes.
• Ideally studying towards a Level 4 qualification or planning to start.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Confident communication skills and a genuine passion for financial planning.
• Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop.
