About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our specialist financial services team in Bristol. You will work on a warm desk, using AI‑enhanced tools to research the market while building relationships with senior finance professionals. The role offers a clear progression from trainee to full consultant.

Key responsibilities

• Learn the financial services recruitment market through structured, hands‑on training.
• Source and engage experienced candidates such as Paraplanners and Financial Advisers.
• Develop and maintain a network of candidate and client relationships.
• Support live assignments for SMEs, national IFA firms and international wealth managers.
• Progress towards managing your own desk and achieving consultant status.

Required profile

• Ambitious and competitive mindset; sales‑driven background (e.g., retail, hospitality, sport).
• Confidence speaking on the phone and in conversation with senior professionals.
• Resilience and persistence in a target‑oriented environment.
• Genuine curiosity about business and people.
