Trainee Recruitment Consultant

About the role

Searchability is looking for an ambitious Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join its tech division in Chester. You will be part of a fast‑growing, employee‑owned agency and will receive award‑winning training to develop into a full‑cycle recruiter.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and use sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Mercury, Broadbean, Indeed and Lusha.
• Support senior consultants by sourcing candidates for live tech vacancies.
• Conduct client outreach via phone and digital channels to generate new business.
• Prepare CVs, submit candidates and manage placement confirmations in line with compliance standards.
• Build and promote your professional network across social media platforms.

Required profile

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above.
• Strong desire to thrive in a KPI‑driven, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication, time‑management and work ethic.
• Ability to commute daily to the Chester headquarters.
• Professional attitude with both candidates and clients.

• Base salary £26,000–£30,000 per year with realistic OTE of £40,000.
