Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Sales Focus

About the role

Join a specialist recruitment consultancy operating in the Cyber Security and Digital Infrastructure market as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. You will develop your sales and consulting skills while supporting senior consultants and building relationships with top‑tier candidates and leading clients.

Key responsibilities

• Source and headhunt candidates for roles in Cloud Security, Network Infrastructure, DevSecOps and Identity & Access Management.
• Build and manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process.
• Support senior team members on active mandates and client engagements.
• Work closely with clients to understand hiring needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Develop market knowledge in high‑growth, technology‑focused industries.
• Learn to build and grow your own specialist market segment.

Required profile

• Experience in a sales or commercial setting (telephone experience desirable).
• Degree‑educated.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ambitious, self‑driven mindset with strong organisational and time‑management skills.
