Trainee Sales Executive

About the role

Our client is seeking a motivated Trainee Sales Executive to join a fast‑growing insurance business in Bracknell. The role is designed for candidates with no prior sales experience, offering a comprehensive training programme to develop the skills needed to handle inbound and outbound leads and deliver excellent customer service. You will work 40 hours per week across shifts from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and every other Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for all inbound and outbound sales enquiries.
• Provide clear, fair and accurate information on car‑insurance products in line with Treating Customers Fairly principles.
• Build relationships and trust with customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
• Meet and exceed individual and company sales and quality‑assurance targets.
• Contribute positively to the team environment and overall company success.
• Recruit, mentor and develop new starters, fostering an empowering atmosphere.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry developments and apply best practices to improve performance.

Required profile

• Proven working experience in car‑insurance sales (preferred but not mandatory).
• Fluent English with strong communication abilities.
• Strategic thinking and leadership potential.
• Advanced troubleshooting and multitasking capabilities.
• Customer‑service orientation and ambition to learn.
