Trainee Security Systems Engineer

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to start a career as a Security Systems Engineer with a well‑established NSI Gold company in Maidstone, Kent. The role is full‑time and permanent, offering a competitive starting salary and professional training.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and support a full range of security systems, including access control, CCTV and alarm systems.
• Participate in on‑call duties and be added to the company’s on‑call rota after training.
• Occasionally work away from home as part of a team covering the South East and London.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, aged 21 or over, with a clean UK driving licence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong customer service skills and a professional work ethic.
• Ability to follow health and safety instructions and work both autonomously and within a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Access and Entry Control systems.
• Familiarity with Emergency Call Systems, IP CCTV and Intruder Alarms.
• Working knowledge of electrical installation or construction environments.
