Trainee Service Technician – Cardiff

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Service Technician to join our Cardiff service centre. You will support the delivery, set‑up and maintenance of medical products for patients across Cardiff, South Wales and occasionally South/West England, working a 37.5‑hour week on a Sunday‑to‑Thursday or Tuesday‑to‑Saturday roster.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clean, ready‑to‑use medical products to customer sites and collect them after use.
• Decontaminate, disinfect, perform functional checks, repair and carry out electrical‑safety testing on returned equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections and testing.
• Manage stock levels of products and spare parts, and perform product modifications when required.
• Provide product demonstrations and basic training to staff at clinical sites.
• Keep the work environment tidy and adhere to health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Motivated, customer‑focused attitude with a clean driving licence.
• Willingness to work on‑call rota covering weekends after training.
• Ability to travel within Cardiff, South Wales and occasional trips to South/West England.
