Trainee Service Technician & Delivery Driver

About the role

Join Medstrom Ltd as a Trainee Service Technician and Delivery Driver, providing timely delivery, set‑up and maintenance of medical beds and mattresses for patients across Oxfordshire. You will work from our Thame service hub, supporting customers in clinical environments while following a structured training pathway.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clean, ready‑to‑use medical products to patient sites and collect them after use.
• Perform full cleaning, decontamination and disinfection of beds and mattresses.
• Conduct function checks, repairs and electrical safety testing on equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery, collection and testing in the computerised system.
• Manage product stock and spare‑parts inventory.
• Provide product demonstrations and basic training to staff on site.
• Participate in an on‑call rota once trained, with additional on‑call payments.

Required profile

• Motivated, customer‑focused individual with a clean driving licence.
• Willingness to learn technical maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 10:30 am‑7:30 pm, and occasional out‑of‑hours on‑call.

Required skills

• Electrical safety testing of medical equipment.
