About the role

This programme is designed for individuals who want to start a career in software development without prior experience. Over a structured 12‑week training period you will acquire core web and programming skills, after which you will be placed in an entry‑level development role in the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Complete online training modules in HTML, CSS, command line, Git, JavaScript and Python.
• Build a portfolio website to demonstrate practical abilities.
• Participate in optional cloud‑technology courses (AWS and Azure).
• Join a partner company as a junior developer, contributing to codebases, fixing bugs and adding features.
• Collaborate with mentors and senior engineers during the placement.

• Motivation to launch a software development career.
• Ability to work independently and follow a structured learning path.
• Basic computer literacy and a willingness to engage with online learning.
