Trainee Systems Support Administrator (Hybrid, London)

About the role

ONNEC Group is seeking a motivated Trainee Systems Support Administrator to join its London team. Working under the Systems Manager, you will provide first‑ and second‑line support for a range of critical business applications, ensuring smooth daily operations across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for core systems including GeneticIQ, Sage, Power BI and PeopleHR.
• Act as the first point of contact for system‑related queries, logging tickets on the Halo service portal.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues while maintaining data integrity.
• Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, testing and documentation.
• Support onboarding, training and user access management.
• Monitor system performance and suggest improvements.
• Help with reporting, data extraction and system‑related projects.

Required profile

• Experience or strong interest in a systems support or administrative role.
• Awareness of relational databases and system architecture.
• Excellent problem‑solving, attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication abilities and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
