Trainee Tyre Technician – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Tyre Technician to join our commercial fleet services team in St Helens. You will embark on a 6‑12 month training programme to become a qualified vehicle tyre fitter, working with a variety of tyres for cars, vans, trucks and specialised equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Fit, repair and maintain tyres on a range of vehicles including cars, vans, trucks, agricultural and industrial machines.
• Provide high‑quality customer service throughout all interactions.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use provided tools, PPE and a company van.
• Work flexible hours, including overtime and occasional Saturday shifts.
• Collaborate with experienced mentors and the training team to develop technical competence.

Required profile

• Passion for the automotive sector and willingness to obtain relevant qualifications.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekend shifts.
• Valid full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical aptitude for tyre fitting and repair.
