Trainee Tyre Technician – Mobile

About the role

Join Halfords Commercial Fleet Services as a Mobile Trainee Tyre Technician. You will work across Essex, travelling to customer sites in a fully equipped van, and receive a structured training programme that leads to full qualification as a vehicle tyre fitter.

Key responsibilities

• Fit and repair tyres on cars, vans, trucks, agricultural and industrial vehicles.
• Provide a high level of customer service on every call‑out.
• Follow health and safety procedures while working on‑site.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Participate in overtime and weekend call‑outs as required.

Required profile

• Passion for the automotive sector and a desire to become a qualified tyre fitter.
• Strong customer‑focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
• Full, current UK driving licence.
