Trainee Tyre Technician - Mobile

About the role

Join Halfords Commercial Fleet Services as a Mobile Trainee Tyre Technician. You will work on a company‑provided van, delivering tyre fitting and repair services to commercial vehicles across South East England, both on the road and in depots.

Key responsibilities

• Fit and repair tyres on cars, vans, trucks, agricultural, industrial and earth‑moving vehicles.
• Provide roadside assistance and depot‑based tyre services.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every call.
• Complete all paperwork and electronic job sheets accurately.

Required profile

• REACT licence for safe roadside work.
• Full, current driving licence.
• RTRT and/or LCTT licences or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a commercial tyre technician or similar.
• Ability to work with heavy machinery in outdoor environments.

Required skills

• Tyre fitting and repair.
• Roadside tyre service.
• Operation of heavy equipment.
• Electronic job‑sheet completion.
