About the role
The Training Assistant will work closely with the Training Manager to ensure high‑quality training is delivered across the factory floor. This role helps close skills gaps, supports new starter inductions, and maintains accurate training records.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Training Manager in delivering consistent, high‑standard training for operatives.
- Collaborate with Team Leaders and Level 3 operatives to identify training needs and develop plans.
- Conduct induction sessions for new employees.
- Report any concerns about training quality to the Training Manager.
- Maintain the training matrix and ensure training logs are up to date.
- Support monitoring of agency staff training requirements and coordinate with Factory Trainers.
- Provide administrative support for the training department, including updating staff training files and materials.
- Help deliver in‑house training courses within your area of competence.
Required profile
- Previous experience delivering training.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Good IT proficiency.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
