Training Instructor

About the role

Arco Professional Safety Services is seeking a Training Instructor to join its Bracknell Training Centre. You will deliver health and safety courses focused on working at height and confined spaces, helping professionals gain the skills and confidence to work safely.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a variety of accredited and non‑accredited health & safety training courses.
• Develop and deliver bespoke client‑specific training programmes.
• Support business development by promoting services and generating new client leads.
• Maintain training equipment, storage areas, and assist with practical demonstrations.
• Participate in equipment sales events and occasional out‑of‑hours or weekend sessions.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal and influencing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and occasional weekend work (pre‑agreed).
• At least one of the following qualifications: City & Guilds Confined Space Training, IOSH Health & Safety Tech or higher, IRATA Level 1 Work at Height.

Required skills

• IT skills, including proficiency with presentation software and equipment.
