About the role
The Training Lead will join a forward‑thinking freight and logistics organisation based in Birmingham. You will own the design and delivery of learning programmes that support staff at every level, from new‑hire induction to senior management development.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, deliver and continuously improve induction, industry, system and management training.
- Collaborate with multiple business departments to ensure training is focused, impactful and drives adoption.
- Roll out new working practices and learning initiatives across the company.
- Monitor training effectiveness and adjust content to meet performance goals.
- Maintain up‑to‑date training materials and documentation.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Lead Trainer or similar senior training role.
- Energetic, proactive and forward‑thinking approach.
- Ability to work at pace and deliver engaging, practical sessions.
- Experience in international freight, logistics or supply‑chain environments is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for improving team performance.
Required skills
- Knowledge of the Cargo Wise system (preferred but not essential).
