Training Specialist – Learning & Development

About the role

Frazer‑Nash is expanding its training consultancy business and seeks a motivated Training Specialist to design and deliver learning solutions for clients across defence, rail, nuclear, health and government sectors. You will work within multidisciplinary project teams, both on‑site at client locations and in our offices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct needs analysis and develop instructional design specifications.
• Create engaging learning materials, including e‑learning, VR/AR simulations, and other technology‑enabled solutions.
• Support senior training specialists in delivering training programmes and ensuring quality assurance.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to tailor solutions to sector‑specific requirements.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of training processes.

Required profile

• PGCE qualification or equivalent teaching credential.
• Degree‑level education or substantial experience in training design.
• Experience in visual communication and curriculum development.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and multiple office locations.
• Aspiration to achieve chartered status with CMI, CIPD or the Learning & Performance Institute.

Required skills

• Proficiency with design software such as Articulate, Captivate and Moodle.
• Familiarity with the ADDIE instructional design framework.
• Ability to produce interactive, technology‑driven learning experiences.
