Transaction Manager – Car Dealership

About the role

Prima Hatfield Associates is seeking an experienced Transaction Manager to join a leading main car dealership in Epsom. This hands‑on position will work closely with the Sales Manager and the wider sales team to maximise profitability, ensure compliance and deliver an outstanding customer experience across vehicle sales, finance and add‑on products.

Key responsibilities

• Support the sales team in closing deals and maximising profit opportunities.
• Prepare and present finance packages, including insurance, GAP and other add‑ons.
• Handle part‑exchange valuations and stack deals to optimise margins.
• Maintain accurate records, manage customer enquiries and process finance documentation.
• Assist with compliance, audit requirements and ensure full regulatory adherence.
• Engage and convert leads, including “last chance” finance opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Transaction Manager within a main car dealership.
• FCA accreditation (essential).
• Strong knowledge of finance and insurance products and related systems.
• Excellent negotiation, closing and customer‑service skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
