Transaction Manager – Five‑Day Week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Transaction Manager to join a respected client in Horsham. You will be the first person to hold this role within the business, working closely with the Sales Manager and supporting a small team of four Sales Executives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive finance and insurance (F&I) performance across the sales department, increasing finance penetration and ancillary product sales.
• Coach the sales team to present finance options, insurance products and value‑added services confidently.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to monitor performance, identify opportunities and improve profitability.
• Structure finance proposals that meet customer needs while achieving commercial targets.
• Ensure all finance activity complies with FCA regulations and company procedures.
• Review deals, manage finance applications and liaise with lenders to secure suitable outcomes for customers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a transaction or finance role within a sales environment.
• Strong understanding of FCA regulations and automotive finance processes.
• Ability to analyse performance data and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication skills for coaching and stakeholder interaction.

What we offer

• Basic salary ranging from £28,000 to £58,000 plus OTE.
• Company car.
• Five‑day work week (Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑6:00 pm).
• Bonus structure based on gross profit, order take and F&I budget achievement.
