Transaction Reporting, MiFID Business Analyst (Fixed Term)

About the role

Macquarie is looking for a Business Analyst to join its Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting team and contribute to an end-to-end transaction reporting transformation project. As lead business analyst for one workstream, you will focus on futures and exchange-traded derivatives and support reporting obligations across key international jurisdictions. This is a fixed-term opportunity of 12-18 months.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business processes and turn regulatory and operational needs into clear business and functional requirements, with a focus on futures and exchange-traded derivatives.
• Apply knowledge of MiFID to support transaction reporting obligations.
• Contribute to projects and regulatory change initiatives.
• Work closely with business, technology and compliance stakeholders to identify issues and deliver practical solutions.
• Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality reporting in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environment.

Required profile

• Strong background in operations or business analysis within financial services.
• Experience with MiFID transaction reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of futures or exchange-traded derivative products.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across business, technology and compliance teams.
