Transactional Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Transactional Finance Manager to join a long‑established group providing bespoke solutions across the UK, Europe and the Americas. The role is initially a six‑month fixed‑term position reporting to the Group CFO and interacting with senior directors.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of all financial, management accounting and reporting activities on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Lead and support a small, well‑established finance team, ensuring accurate month‑end close and statutory reporting.
• Prepare and analyse management accounts, budgets and forecasts for the Group.
• Liaise with senior directors and the CFO to provide financial insights and support decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls during the restructuring period.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a finance manager or similar role within a corporate environment.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and lead a finance team.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with senior leadership.
• Experience handling financial reporting, budgeting and month‑end processes.
