Transactional Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a Transactional Team Leader to oversee the day‑to‑day processing of financial transactions for a fast‑growing business. The role will manage a team of nine staff across two offices, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency in accounts payable, receivable and cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train and mentor a team of transaction processing staff to meet KPIs and service level agreements.
• Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and in line with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement workflow or technology improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor compliance with financial regulations and company policies, addressing any control gaps promptly.
• Act as the primary contact for complex queries and collaborate with Procurement, Commercial Finance and Operations teams.

Required profile

• 2‑5+ years of experience in financial operations, shared services, or accounts payable/receivable.
• Proven supervisory or mentoring experience within a transaction processing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using transaction processing systems.
