Transactions Tax Senior Manager

About the role

This senior position offers the chance to work on high‑profile private‑equity transactions, providing tax advice across the full deal lifecycle from acquisition to exit. You will join a team that blends technical tax expertise with commercial insight, serving sophisticated investors and management teams on complex, cross‑border deals.

Key responsibilities

• Advise private‑equity houses, corporate investors and management teams on tax aspects of acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and related transaction activities.
• Conduct tax due diligence, structuring, tax modelling, SPA support and other advisory projects for domestic and international transactions.
• Lead client engagements, build trusted relationships and collaborate with specialists in transactions, restructuring, funds and international tax.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the transactions practice.
• Mentor junior team members, review technical work and support practice development.

Required profile

• ACA, CTA, ATT, law qualification or an international equivalent.
• Significant experience in transaction tax, restructuring tax or a related advisory environment.
• Strong understanding of UK corporate tax and exposure to transaction advisory work.
• Proven ability to lead complex client engagements and manage multiple projects.
• Commercial mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
