Transfers Analyst – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term (Hybrid)

About the role

Sterling Williams is looking for a Transfers Analyst to join a leading investment‑management firm in the City of London. The role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent, offering a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Check and process transfer requests received from relationship‑management teams, entering instructions into the internal system.
• Liaise with third‑party administrators, fund managers and custodians to ensure smooth and timely asset transitions.
• Track and report on transfer progress using the Asset Tracker system, providing clear updates to internal and external clients.
• Manage the Transitions mailbox, handling post and telephone queries.
• Process transfers through the electronic re‑registration system and monitor reports for receipt of funds and assets.
• Ensure compliance with internal and client operational procedures and controls.

Required profile

• High level of accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for handling queries via phone, email and face‑to‑face.
• Commitment to treating customers fairly and resolving issues promptly.

Required skills

• Experience using asset‑tracking and electronic re‑registration systems.
