Transformation Programme Manager

About the role

The Transformation Programme Manager will lead the review and improvement of evidence against four Consumer Standards, ensuring full compliance and inspection readiness. Reporting to the DMT, you will guide Heads of Service through self‑assessment, coaching, and the preparation of robust reports for inspectors.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the current evidence base against the Consumer Standards, identifying gaps and weaknesses.
• Develop and monitor a work‑plan to achieve full compliance with the Competence and Conduct Standard.
• Provide regular progress reports to the DMT and advise Heads of Service on report completion.
• Support the summer 2026 self‑assessment, offering an objective, analytical perspective.
• Coach Heads of Service on presenting to inspectors and articulating the Lewisham landlord narrative.
• Rate the robustness of evidence and recommend additional audits or external reviews where needed.
• Translate previous inspection experience into actionable improvements for Lewisham.

Required profile

• Proven experience in programme or transformation management, preferably within regulatory or compliance environments.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for coaching senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects to inspection readiness.
