Transition Project Manager – Emergency Services Network (6-month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Transition Project Manager for a critical six-month contract supporting the Emergency Services Network (ESN). The role bridges project delivery and live operations, ensuring new and changed critical infrastructure services are resilient, supportable and meet operational readiness and service acceptance standards before go-live.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end transition of managed services across internal teams, customers and third‑party suppliers.
• Define and implement operational models, including support arrangements, SLAs, OLAs, monitoring and run‑books.
• Drive governance by enforcing service acceptance criteria, managing transition plans, milestones, risks and formal hand‑over approvals.

Required profile

• Proven experience transitioning large‑scale IT, telecom or infrastructure services into live environments, preferably within an ITIL framework.
• Background in critical infrastructure such as telecoms, networks, data centres or facilities/estates management.
• Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills with the ability to uphold quality standards.
• Immediate availability to start and deliver within a fast‑paced six‑month execution phase.
