Transport Administrator

About the role

The Transport Administrator will support the logistics function of a dynamic company in Stanford‑le‑Hope, ensuring goods move efficiently, cost‑effectively and in compliance with regulations. Working closely with the transport supervisor and commercial teams, you will help meet customer delivery expectations across the UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily logistics schedule for inbound and outbound goods, coordinating with commercial, procurement, customs and production teams.
• Oversee the UK daily dispatch schedule and ensure all shipments are accompanied by accurate, compliant documentation.
• Update weekly goods‑in/out KPIs and obtain proof of delivery from third‑party hauliers.
• Assist the transport supervisor with European and Rest‑of‑World shipments and compile monthly export pack reconciliations for compliance.
• Build strong relationships with third‑party hauliers to improve departmental efficiency.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to the wider logistics function as required.

Required profile

• Recent (within 6 months) experience in transport administration.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Good geographic knowledge and ability to appreciate time‑critical deliveries.
• Driver’s licence and own transport (essential for the role).
• German language skills and knowledge of customs or dangerous‑goods handling are desirable.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
