Transport Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Transport Administrator to join our team in Cheltenham. You will coordinate drivers, manage inventory and ensure the smooth movement of goods for a financially secure industry leader.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule orders using the in‑house system and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Process customer orders against forecast usage, guaranteeing stock availability.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and drivers.
• Maintain the integrity of the internal database to ensure order accuracy.
• Design cost‑effective routes for the company fleet and monitor transport progress.
• Communicate milestones to clients and keep transports on schedule.
• Support the Goods‑In team by confirming correct material quantities.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and experience in order management.
• Background in logistics, transport or fleet management.
• Full UK driver’s licence (essential) and willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to manage time independently and take initiative.
• Flexible nature with a solid work ethic.
