Transport Administrator (Traffic Clerk)

About the role

We are looking for a Transport Administrator (Traffic Clerk) to provide essential administrative support for our traffic and warehousing teams in Warrington. You will ensure information flows smoothly, handle customer and driver enquiries, and help maintain our high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure traffic and warehousing operations follow company procedures.
• Support on‑the‑road traffic management through clear communication and guidance.
• Complete all required administrative tasks accurately and on time.
• Respond to customer and driver enquiries politely and efficiently.
• Achieve service level targets and KPIs by maximising fleet utilisation.
• Escalate service complaints to achieve effective resolutions.
• Maintain knowledge of warehousing operations and local geography.

Required profile

• Friendly, hard‑working team player.
• Previous experience in traffic, warehousing or logistics operations.
• Good local geographical knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Required skills

• High competence in Microsoft Excel.
