Transport Clerk – Night Shift

About the role

Join a busy transport department on the night shift as a Transport Clerk. You will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth vehicle movements and timely deliveries throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Pre‑brief and de‑brief drivers at the start and end of their shifts.
• Process and maintain transport, delivery and proof‑of‑delivery (POD) documentation.
• Monitor vehicle movements, delivery schedules and update internal transport management systems.
• Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams and customers to resolve queries.
• Investigate and escalate delivery issues, delays or driver concerns.
• Produce reports and carry out general transport office duties.

Required profile

• Previous experience in transport, logistics or distribution environments (desirable).
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident communication skills for building relationships with drivers and colleagues.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced office.
• Reliability, punctuality and independence on night shifts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
