Transport Co-ordinator – 25 hrs/week

About the role

The Transport Co-ordinator will support the delivery of a quality passenger transport service in West Norwood, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements. This part‑time role offers a varied day‑to‑day experience, combining administrative duties with direct interaction with drivers, passengers and local authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for telephone, email and in‑person enquiries related to the depot and transport operation.
• Liaise regularly with the local authority, providing attendance updates for service users.
• Monitor and record Mechanical Replacement Vehicle (MRV) usage and report weekly to the vehicle insurer.
• Assist with vehicle compliance paperwork, including inspections, servicing, MOT and defect documentation.
• Update the Cordic dispatch system with changes to transport routes and support users of the system.
• Help prepare timesheets and process payroll amendments for drivers and passenger assistants.
• Support contract management and contribute to depot‑related project work.

• Excellent organisational abilities and strong IT competence.
• Professional telephone manner and clear written English.

What we offer

• £14.80 per hour (approximately £19,240 annual salary).
• 25‑hour week, Monday‑Friday, 1 pm‑6 pm with some flexibility.
