Transport Coordinator – Freight & Warehouse Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Transport Coordinator to join our friendly Transport & Warehouse team at Heathrow. The role combines transport planning with hands‑on warehouse duties, supporting both air export and import freight flows.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and plan transport requirements using leased vehicles and subcontractors.
• Process purchase invoices, reserve and raise sales invoices in line with the company quality system.
• Produce, check and resolve weekly job transaction reports.
• Maintain cargo security procedures and complete required documentation.
• Monitor cost‑effectiveness of leased vehicles and subcontracted cartage.
• Assist in the warehouse with air export/import handling, cargo labelling, and basic ERTS tasks.
• Operate cargo X‑ray equipment (training provided) and handle bonded controlled cargo.

Required profile

• Minimum 1‑2 years experience in the freight forwarding sector.
• Willingness to undertake warehouse duties and aviation security checks.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday 9:00‑17:30, with occasional Sunday overtime.
