Transport First Line Manager

About the role

GXO Logistics is seeking a Transport First Line Manager to lead the delivery operations for its Waitrose customer at the Greenford site. You will ensure safe, compliant and efficient transport services while meeting performance and colleague engagement targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise multiple operational activities, identifying and escalating risks as needed.
• Monitor daily performance and take proactive actions to minimise service, compliance or resource issues.
• Lead operational communications to keep all colleagues informed and aligned with business priorities.
• Support workforce planning and resource management to maintain appropriate operational cover.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing teams in fast‑paced transport, logistics, distribution or home‑delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of workforce planning and resource allocation.
• Excellent knowledge of current EU and working‑time regulations.
