About the role
IKB Transport Ltd is expanding its Planning & Operations team and is looking for a Transport Planner to join the Liverpool office. You will play a key part in keeping the UK transport network moving by planning and coordinating daily transport activities.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily transport operations to ensure timely deliveries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carrier partners.
- React quickly to operational challenges, providing effective problem‑solving.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maximising fleet utilisation.
Required profile
- Experience in transport planning or logistics (preferred).
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
