Transport & Warehouse Operator

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Transport & Warehouse Operator to join our established freight forwarding team in Feltham. You will work in a busy transit warehouse handling air export and import cargo while supporting transport planning and cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the warehouse to receive, store, and release air export and import freight, including bonded cargo.
• Plan and organise transport requirements using company‑leased vehicles and subcontractors.
• Process purchase and sales invoices in line with the company’s quality system.
• Produce, check and resolve weekly job transaction reports.
• Maintain cargo security procedures and ensure accurate documentation.
• Monitor cost effectiveness of leased vehicles and subcontracted cartage.
• Provide assistance in the warehouse as needed and work a standard 37.5‑hour week, with occasional Sunday overtime.
