Transportation & Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Join a world‑class manufacturer in Peterlee as a Transportation & Logistics Coordinator. You will plan, coordinate and administer both domestic and international transport operations, ensuring parts, kits and finished goods move on time and in compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute transportation plans for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Manage international shipping documentation and export compliance.
• Oversee returnable packaging programs and maintain packaging inventory.
• Analyse performance data, produce reports and identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide day‑to‑day customer service and support to warehouse, carrier and supplier partners.

Required profile

• Experience in transportation, logistics or supply‑chain coordination.
• Familiarity with freight booking and transportation management platforms.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and multitasking skills.
