Treasury Manager – Front Office

About the role

We are looking for a Treasury Manager – Front Office to lead cash and liquidity management for Hastings Insurance Services Limited. Reporting to the Head of Treasury, you will own daily cash positioning, forecasting and funding activities while supporting the company’s growth in a fast‑moving digital insurance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own group liquidity and funding, including daily cash positioning, cash forecasting and funding assumptions.
• Manage foreign‑exchange exposure and hedging programmes, with occasional interest‑rate derivative support.
• Act as the primary contact for funding facilities, inter‑company funding arrangements and utilisation monitoring.
• Drive liquidity efficiency initiatives to reduce idle cash and improve returns within the risk appetite.
• Lead design, testing and implementation of Front Office treasury systems (TMS) covering liquidity, forecasting and FX workflows.
• Deliver treasury transformation projects, leveraging data and AI to enhance forecasting, analytics and process automation while maintaining strong controls.

Required profile

• Professional treasury qualification (ACT or AMCT) or working towards it.
• Significant experience in corporate treasury cash management.
• Good understanding of regulatory compliance and treasury risk management (e.g., CAS).
• Proven ability to work with internal stakeholders and influence senior business partners.
