Truck Driver – 7.5t to Artic, Full‑time, £12.71‑£16/hr

About the role

Front Runner Logistics is seeking experienced HGV drivers to operate 7.5‑tonne to Artic vehicles on a variety of shifts. The role is full‑time, permanent and offers consistent hours with paid annual leave.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out deliveries and collections of air freight and specialist goods for multiple customers.
• Complete local and regional routes, returning to base each day.
• Load, stack and secure freight safely, and complete paperwork accurately.
• Maintain communication with the transport office throughout the shift.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, report defects, and operate equipment such as pump trucks or tail‑lifts when required.
• Ensure compliance with RHA standards, drivers’ hours rules and tachograph regulations.

Required profile

• Full, valid UK driving licence with clean CRC check.
• Good local road knowledge and confident navigation using maps or sat‑nav.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and courteous to customers and colleagues.
• Willingness to attend training and represent the company professionally.

Required skills

• Basic IT skills – PDA and sat‑nav operation.
• Pump truck operation.
• Tail‑lift handling.
• Tachograph use and record‑keeping.
