Tube Bending Operative

About the role

Stannah Management Services is looking for a Tube Bending Operative to join its Pioneer Road site in Charlton. You will produce bespoke tubular stair‑lift components from engineering drawings, working a night shift (Monday‑Thursday 21:00‑06:45) on a permanent contract.

Key responsibilities

• Produce bent tubular components in line with the production schedule.
• Interpret engineering drawings and follow production plans to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Support other department areas as required and keep the workspace tidy.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production or engineering environment.
• Capability to operate cutting and lifting equipment.
• Forklift licence desirable or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexible, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
