Tyre Technician – Full‑time

About the role

Halfords is seeking an experienced Tyre Technician to join its Southampton centre. You will work in the UK’s largest automotive service, maintenance and repair business, delivering fast‑fit tyre services to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Fit, balance and mount tyres using Fast Fit equipment.
• Provide high‑quality customer service and advice on tyre selection.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support the centre’s daily operations, including garage bill processing.
• Participate in training programmes to achieve ATA and MOT tester qualifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in tyre fitting or Fast Fit environments.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Ability to work to health and safety compliance standards.
• Strong customer‑focused attitude.
