UI/UX Engineer

About the role

This role at Veriforce owns the product design of the new Carbon Hub platform end‑to‑end – from ideation through to the interfaces users actually work in. You will conceive user experiences, explore concepts, test them with real users where appropriate, and iterate until the solution is right.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product design of the Carbon Hub platform from concept to shipped experience.
• Collaborate with product managers and the Voice of the Customer team to define problems and run discovery activities.
• Plan and conduct usability testing, iterate designs based on feedback, and champion accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA).
• Build and maintain reusable components and design tokens in the Veriforce Design System using modern front‑end technologies.
• Translate high‑fidelity designs into production‑ready code where appropriate and review UI pull requests for quality and consistency.

Required profile

• 7+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of end‑to‑end product design for shipped digital products.
• 2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating problem framing, concept development, and final solutions.
• Hands‑on experience running product discovery, user research, and usability testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Figma (including prototyping and design‑system work).
• Front‑end frameworks such as React, AngularJS, and Angular.
• Design‑system creation and maintenance, design tokens, theming, and responsive layout techniques.
• Web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2, ARIA, keyboard interaction).
• Experience with AI‑assisted development workflows and modern front‑end performance optimisation.
