Undergraduate Placement Year 2027 - Commercial and Customer Requirements Intern

About the role

Bosch is looking for an undergraduate student to join its Coventry office for a 12-month placement year starting in July 2027. The role acts as the central point of contact and coordination between Bosch and the assigned OEM customer on customer requirements and sales-related activities, ensuring smooth communication, efficient evaluation of needs and strategic support. It is open to students eligible to take a placement as part of their university course.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer requirements: coordinate the internal fulfilment of commercial and process requirements and act as the main channel for official corporate responses to the customer
• Evaluate incoming requirements and engage the appropriate Bosch subject matter experts
• Answer questions from Bosch employees and the customer about the status of requirement evaluations
• Coordinate the creation and collection of strategic planning documents and lead central sales tasks and projects
• Support the Sales Director and facilitate cross-divisional communication
• Maintain the Bosch account sales portal and manage access to online portals for relevant Bosch personnel
• Coordinate preparation for customer strategy meetings and organise the review and approval of NDAs for customer projects

Required profile

• Studying for an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Management, with a placement required as part of the course
• Right to live and work in the UK for the full duration of the placement
• Self-motivated, tenacious, highly organised and able to handle multiple complex topics
• Strong communication and analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to build networks

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Bosch sales and marketing tools, business planning and the Bosch product and services portfolio is advantageous
