Unqualified Nursery Practitioner – Flexible Supply Work

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team of Unqualified Nursery Practitioners on a flexible, daily‑supply basis across nurseries in Southwark and surrounding areas. The role supports children aged 0‑5 years, helping create a safe, nurturing environment in line with the EYFS framework.

Key responsibilities

• Support children’s learning through play‑based activities.
• Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes and outdoor play.
• Encourage social, emotional and language development.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and stimulating environment.
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff to achieve the best outcomes for each child.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Caring, enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop within an Early Years setting.
• Experience in a nursery, school, childcare or similar setting is desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
