Unqualified SEN Teacher – Greenwich (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Unqualified SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Greenwich. The role is full‑time and starts immediately, supporting pupils aged 4‑19 with a range of complex special educational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet individual EHCP outcomes.
• Support pupils with autism, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties and related communication needs.
• Promote independence, positive behaviour and life‑skills development.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and senior leaders to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to maximise pupil achievement.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an unqualified teacher, HLTA or cover teacher in an SEN setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead lessons for pupils with additional or complex needs.
• Confidence in planning and delivering differentiated instruction.
• Reliable commute to Greenwich.

Required skills

• Experience supporting pupils with autism, SLD, PMLD or similar complex needs.
• Strong organisational and classroom management abilities.
• Effective communication with multi‑disciplinary teams.
