Unqualified SEN Teacher – Greenwich

About the role

We are seeking a confident Unqualified SEN Teacher to join our specialist provision in Greenwich. You will support pupils aged 4‑19 with a range of complex special educational needs, delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that promote independence and progress.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver tailored lessons for pupils with autism, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, and related communication needs.
• Work towards EHCP outcomes, monitoring and reporting progress.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and senior staff to ensure high‑quality support.
• Manage behaviour positively and maintain a structured, inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an unqualified teacher, HLTA or cover teacher within an SEN setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead lessons for pupils with additional or complex needs.
• Confidence in planning and delivering differentiated instruction.
• Ability to commute easily to Greenwich.

Required skills

• Lesson planning and delivery for SEN pupils.
• Understanding of autism, SLD, PMLD and related needs.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
