About the role
Academics Ltd is seeking enthusiastic individuals with an undergraduate degree to join secondary schools in High Wycombe as Unqualified Teachers. This full‑time, contractor‑based position starts in September 2026 and offers a day rate of £130.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise students and ensure completion of pre‑planned tasks.
- Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
- Assist pupils with questions and provide guidance.
- Follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies.
- Collect and submit completed work to the Head of Department.
- Offer feedback on lessons and student engagement.
Required profile
- Undergraduate degree in any subject (e.g., Chemistry, PE, Business Studies, Computer Science).
- Strong communication skills, confidence and adaptability.
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with young people.
