US & UK Tax Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced US & UK Tax Manager to join a boutique tax services firm in Central London. You will manage a portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals, ensuring accurate and timely personal tax compliance across both jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Actively manage a client portfolio to meet US and UK personal tax filing deadlines.
• Prepare and review US and UK tax returns, ensuring accuracy.
• Oversee and review the work of junior staff members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify business‑development opportunities.
• Identify and communicate potential tax risks and technical matters to senior team members.
• Manage engagement finances, including budget monitoring.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in US/UK private client tax, focusing on high‑net‑worth clients.
• Qualified member of ATT and an Enrolled Agent (EA).
• Proven experience with CCH Axcess or CCH ProSystem for US tax preparation.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and team‑collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with IT and Microsoft Office packages.
