User Researcher & Research Ops Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic User Researcher and Research Operations Coordinator to join AVEVA’s User Research & Experience team in Cambridge. You will work across a portfolio of industrial software products, generating robust user insights that shape strategic, tactical and operational decisions for multiple teams and markets. In addition to conducting research, you will help run the research operations that keep the UX team efficient and effective.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute user research studies across complex enterprise ecosystems and multiple time zones.
• Manage participant recruitment, consent, scheduling, registration and attendance for each study.
• Analyse qualitative and quantitative data at scale, synthesising insights across products, programmes and teams.
• Create, edit and upload audio‑visual research content to internal portals.
• Present complex findings clearly to senior stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Maintain and administer research tools such as repositories and booking systems.
• Support and mentor UX team members in conducting their own research.

Required profile

• Proven experience conducting user research in large‑scale, enterprise or complex organisational settings.
• Strong synthesis ability to turn complex data into actionable insight.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across multiple teams without direct authority.
• Self‑motivated, flexible and able to work both independently and as part of a global team.
• Capable of multitasking, meeting deadlines and thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
