User Researcher - SC Clearance

About the role

We are seeking a User Researcher with Security Check (SC) clearance to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne on a six‑month contract. The role is hybrid, requiring three days on‑site each week, and offers the chance to shape research strategy for high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, structure and deliver primary and secondary research using a range of techniques.
• Analyse complex data sets to generate actionable insights and market trends.
• Develop comprehensive research plans aligned with project goals and stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, manage research activities and support decision‑making.
• Communicate findings clearly to influence project direction and strategy.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of research methodologies.

Required profile

• SC security clearance (mandatory).
• Advanced proficiency in User Experience (UX) research.
• Experience delivering research in a contract or consultancy environment.
• Ability to work independently and lead a research team.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality insights.
