US‑Qualified High Yield Associate (3‑5 PQE) – London

About the role

This position is for a US‑qualified High Yield Associate with 3–5 years post‑qualification experience, based in London. The associate will work within a leading international law firm’s high‑yield practice, advising sponsors, investment banks, corporates and alternative capital providers on sophisticated cross‑border financing transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on high‑yield bond offerings, leveraged financings and liability management exercises.
• Support broader capital‑markets transactions and cross‑border financing mandates.
• Collaborate with lean, multi‑jurisdictional deal teams to deliver commercial and technical advice.
• Maintain client relationships with sponsors, banks and corporate borrowers.

Required profile

• US‑qualified lawyer with 3–5 years PQE in high‑yield finance at a leading international firm.
• Commercially minded and able to thrive in fast‑paced, collaborative environments.
• Fluency in either French or Spanish is essential.
• Based in London and able to work on cross‑border matters.

Required skills

• Expertise in US high‑yield finance law.
